Aptinia Red Apple

APPLE  Aptinia cordifolia also known as Aptinia Red Apple native to South Africa.

A shrubby succulent perennial ground cover in mild wintered areas or use as a basket plant even indoors anywhere it needs little water or care.

Trailing stems to 2 ft long and a profusion of one inch wide succulent fleshy leaves, displaying a 3/4 to 1 inch red flower year round here in Santa Barbara CA. if planted in less than full sun the flower will be a light purple in color.
