Arctotis Pink Sugar

Arctotis Pink Sugar aka Pink African Daisy is native to South Africa.

An evergreen perennial with compact habit 10 to 14 inches tall with velvety silver gray foliage and large colorful daisies with contrasting dark haloes on calf high leafless stems

The solitary bloom is pink that have an orange yellow eye and appear continuously from April through November here in Santa Barbara CA. 

Arctotis Pink Sugar  make excellent bedding and container plants for just about any climate , plant them alone or in mass , they excel in bringing summer color to Mediterranean and desert landscapes.

 Plant in full to part sun and irrigate only occasionally to infrequently. Hardy to 25 F

The flowers are attractive to butterflies and the fuzzy gray green foliage seems resistant to dear predation.
