Red Corkscrew Willow also known as Salix matsudana tortuosa.
Dull old gold colored branches and Red branchlets are fantastically twisted into upright, spiraling patterns. The effect peaks after the first frost when the red becomes more intense. Unique curling leaves create interest throughout the growing season. Mature height 30 feet with a 15 feet spread, but can be kept much smaller with pruning. Very hardy, it can thrive on less water than most willows, but the branches become more twisted with ample water.
Use the Red Corkscrew Willow for silhouette effect. Cut branches are good in floral arrangements.
We are offering a well established plant 20 to 30 inches tall.
