Giant Ice Plant Purple Flower

Carobrotus is known by a number of differant GIANT  FLOWERING   ICE  PLANT  , Sea Fig , Hottentot Fig  this succulent  is native to South Africa a perennial ground cover in mild wintered areas. A coarse leafed trailing plant useful for covering sunny banks , in binding loose sand at the beach , for cover seldom watered marginal areas. Carobrotus is not effected by diseases , insects , or smog it is even resistant to fires .

This Giant Ice Plant has flowers that measure 4 inches plus across and its leaf is much more gray blue than the more common Ice Plant
