Baby Tears

Baby Tears also known as Soleirolii; A summer ground cover that renews itself from root fragments and seeds. Creeping, with tiny round leaves making lush medium green mats 1 to 4 inches high. Its tender juicy leaves and stems easily injured, but aggressive growth habit quickly repairs the damage. Roots easily from pieces of stem.

The  Baby Tears flowers are inconspicuous. Best grown in shaded conditions , freezes to black mush in a hard frost but comes back quickly., can be used to carpet terrariums or space under greenhouse benches , cool looking , neat  ground cover for ferns and other shade loving plants.

We are offering a 4 inch pot of well-established plants; these can be divided into quarters that will take off rapidly , covering a large area in short order.
