Australian Violet also known as Viola hederacea.
A small tufted plant with green kidney shaped leaves that bloom in the summer with flowers ¼ to ¾ inch diameter white or blue fading to white at the petal tips. The Australian Violet spreads by stolons at a slow to moderate of several feet in time. Hardy to 30 degrees at which time it will go dormant coming back in the spring.
Use the Australian Violet as a ground cover in the shade or between stepping stones, also looks great in hanging baskets by itself or mixed with other blooming plants.
