Ice Plant Yellow

Carobrotus edulis Yellow is known by a number of deferent common names . Ice Plant , Sea Fig ,Hottentot Fig it is native to South Africa this succulent perennial ground cover is used along the HI ways of Southern California as well as elsewhere in mild wintered areas.

A coarse leafed Trailing plant useful for covering sunny banks , in binding loose sand at the beach , for cover seldom watered marginal areas.Not effected by diseases , insects , or smog – even resistant to fires. Fast growing , easy to increase by cuttings set 1 1/2 ft. to 2 ft. apart.
