Ivy Geranium Crocodile

Ivy Geranium Crocodile: this variety has a compact , bushy to trailing growth pattern.

Fleshy rounded and lobed leaves that are mid green in color and laced with cream colored veins are quite striking.  Clusters of single , bright pink flowers appear in the summer.

Use in planter boxes or hanging baskets, with or without companion plants.

Pelargonium peltatum also known as Ivy Geranium is native to the Cape Province of South Africa where they grow in sheltered places, the species was first introduced into Holland in 1700 and into England in 1774.

Ivy Geraniums are unique in the cultural requirements and should not be treated the same as common Zonal Geraniums.

Light and temperature are two key factors that should be taken into consideration.

Ivy Geraniums prefer moderate temperatures, If the temperatures are between 65 and 85 degrees F. place them in full sun. When the temperatures are above 85 degrees F. hang them in a location that receives morning sun and afternoon shade.
