Hardy in zones 9 -10 .Grow indoors as a fantastic specimen of terrestrial Bromeliads. An outdoor plant mild wintered areas. Here in Santa Barbara, established plants have handled 35 degrees F. A good cactus mix for soil works well, place in an area that has full sunlight, frequent light watering’s allowing it to dry some in-between and feed a low nitrogen fertilizer every 2 months. Planted out of doors it should be in full sun and protect from excessive winter moisture
