Doryanthes palmeri also known as Giant Sword Lily is native to Australia.
An enormous succulent with a gigantic cluster of 100 or so leaves which may reach 8 feet in length and be 6 inches wide. The flower stalk is 6 to 9 feet high consisting of a clustered red / orange flowers tubular, white within, late spring early summer bloom. A striking subject for patio containers
The Doryanthes palmeri should be grown as you would an Agave, but it requires more water to look good, and will tolerate more shade.
We are offering a well-established plant; they are 4 to 8 inches tall.
